Limited ground maneuver in Lebanon Defense Minister Israel Katz: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have approved the IDF to advance and hold additional controlling areas in Lebanon to prevent fire on Israeli border communities. The IDF continues to operate forcefully against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The terrorist organization is paying and will pay a heavy price for firing towards Israel. To prevent the possibility of direct fire on Israeli communities, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have approved the IDF to advance and hold additional controlling areas in Lebanon and protect the border communities from there. We promised security to the communities of the Galilee and that is what we will do.
