Primary elections will start across New York State at 6am on Tuesday. Local and state races include State Senate and Assembly positions as well as New York's 25th congressional district. Several town supervisor roles are also on the ballot. Representative Joe Morelle seeks to retain his seat in Congress. Demond Meeks and Mercedes Vazquez-Simmons are up for the 137th Assembly District, while Harry Bronson runs for re-election in the 138th District.
