Registered voters in Georgia cast their ballots early or in person on election day, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Although most of the elections are primaries to choose a party's candidates for the general election in November, the state's Supreme Court elections will be decided in Tuesday's vote. On election day, you must vote at your designated polling place. You can find your assigned polling location on your voter registration card, by logging into the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page, or by contacting your County Board of Registrar's Office. Polling places are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot. Check the secretary of state’s My Voter Page to see if your polling place is affected by issues and is open later. See field updates from GPB's News Staff below.
