Texas voters are selecting party nominees for some of the state’s highest offices, including the U.S. Senate, Texas attorney general, competitive congressional seats and dozens of state positions.
At the top of the ballot, Republicans are deciding whether to nominate U.S. Sen. John Cornyn for a fifth term or choose one of his challengers, including Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt. Democrats are choosing among U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, state Rep. James Talarico and other candidates to lead their party’s ticket.
