Combo payout calculator

A partial component settlement can change the payout. Multiply the values of the selected positions, then compare the resulting payout with your entry cost.

Model the settlement payout

Enter final or hypothetical settlement values from 0 to 1. The default is an invented scalar example. Values are payouts for the selected positions, not market probabilities.

2–20 values, separated by commas or whitespace; up to six decimal places each.

1 × 0.6 × 1 = $0.60 per contract

Gross payout$60.00

Entry cost + fees$27.00

Net for this scenario$33.00

Maximum gross payout for 100 whole contracts: $100.00.

Approximate scenario arithmetic before venue rounding. The calculator does not determine component settlements, obtain RFQ prices, estimate probabilities or place orders. Use the governing contract rules and your actual fills/fees; exit transactions are excluded.

What the product represents

Kalshi's official combo guide defines payout as the product of component settlement values. Those values can be binary or scalar under their individual rules. This tool follows that product formula for the values you enter.

The default example

The invented values 1, 0.6 and 1 give $0.60 per contract. For 100 contracts, gross payout is $60. An entry at 25¢ costs $25, and $2 of total entry fees brings cost to $27. The scenario net is $33. Any zero component makes gross payout zero; three values of 1 produce the $100 maximum gross payout.

Settlement values are different from probabilities

A forecast assigning 60% to an outcome is not a final settlement value of $0.60. Use a value of 0.6 here only to model a position that settles at that scalar value. Multiplying probability estimates requires an independence or conditional model and answers a different question.

Use the contract's actual rules

The calculator cannot determine how a player non-participation, cancellation or disputed outcome resolves. Read the Kalshi combos guide and preserve the rules for each selected position. Use final values from the venue when reconciling an actual settlement.
