Check the source before joining
A server name alone does not establish affiliation. Start from the official help-center link, follow its Discord invitation and read the server rules. This guide verifies the published community route; it does not claim an audit of private channels, moderators, paid groups or individual members.
An independent group can be useful without being official. Keep those identities clear when reading an invitation or evaluating a recommendation. A familiar avatar, screenshot or brand name is not evidence that a person can act on your account.
Prepare an API question that can be answered
Kalshi’s API help page points developers to Discord’s dev channel. For an integration question, include a small reproducible example rather than your whole application.
- Name the endpoint, HTTP method and environment.
- State what you expected and the actual response status.
- Share a minimal sanitized request and error message.
- Remove API credentials, signatures, personal account details and private keys.
- Explain whether the problem repeats or occurred once at a specific time.

Turn a community idea into a research question
Suppose someone posts “this event is almost certain.” Write down the exact contract, selected side, deadline and resolution source. Then separate their evidence from their conclusion. Is the evidence new? Does it refer to the same outcome? Would it still support the idea at a different entry price?

Use the right channel for the problem
