ProphetX’s current official product page describes nationwide availability with a Nevada exclusion. As checked October 6, 2026, it explicitly says it is not operating in Nevada. That is the platform’s published availability statement, not an individual legal determination for every reader. See the official product page.
This guide concerns the current ProphetX sports prediction exchange. Older sweepstakes-era pages and DTN’s unrelated ProphetX software can appear in search results. Match the product, domain and date before relying on a state list. We reviewed public documentation; we have not created an account or tested a location check.
Which states does ProphetX support?
| Location | Current published statement | What remains to check |
|---|---|---|
| Nevada | Official lobby explicitly excludes it | Do not treat a prior account or another state’s address as permission to trade there |
| Other US states | Official lobby uses nationwide language, subject to the Nevada exclusion | Current terms, your eligibility and the location result for the action |
The table reports the scope of one dated operator statement. It does not turn every state into a separately researched legal opinion. Before committing money, open the current official page and check the account’s actual requirements. An affiliate’s state list should not override a newer restriction displayed by the venue.
Age and identity requirements also apply
Section 3.1 of the current Terms of Use requires participants to be over 18 or meet a higher applicable age of majority, and be legally permitted to participate. Section 8 permits verification checks and account restrictions pending completion; section 8.5 requires location services on the device or computer. Read the exact wording rather than treating a state name as the entire eligibility test.
Location, age and verification answer different questions. A location check can succeed while identity review remains incomplete. A verified account can still encounter a location restriction. Write down the actual message and the action that produced it before deciding which requirement is unresolved.
What happens when you travel?
Think of your registered address and your present location as separate facts. For example, an invented user with an account established in another state travels into Nevada. The published Nevada exclusion gives them no basis to assume trading remains permitted merely because their account was opened elsewhere.
Do not infer how deposits, withdrawals, existing positions or settlement will be handled from that example. Those are distinct actions. If travel affects your access, ask official support which actions remain available and how to manage an existing position under the current rules.
Why viewing markets is not proof you can submit an order
The official direct-linking integration guide tells integrators to check geolocation before each order. A response can use HTTP 200 while returning success: false; the success flag indicates whether the location is authorized. This documentation describes an integration requirement, not a hands-on test of every app screen.
There are several separate milestones: opening a page, seeing a quote, signing in, completing verification and receiving permission for an order. Reaching one does not prove the next. If an order is blocked, record its exact stage rather than reporting that the entire platform is unavailable.
A useful access troubleshooting checklist
- Confirm you are using the current sports exchange and an official domain.
- Check the latest availability statement and terms against the date of any article you read.
- Read the displayed account or location message; distinguish a verification request from a location restriction.
- Check the device permissions requested by the official application.
- If unresolved, contact official support with the time, general state, action and error message. Use its secure process for sensitive account documents.
This is an evidence-gathering checklist, not a way to defeat an access restriction. A repeated attempt does not establish eligibility, and a marketing headline does not settle a disputed legal question.
After checking access, understand the contract
Availability is only the first decision. Inspect contract wording, executable price, size, fees and settlement conditions before trading. Our ProphetX exchange guide explains order matching with a hypothetical depth example. The ProphetX API guide separates public data, keys and authenticated execution.
For another venue’s rules, use its own documentation rather than carrying this state statement across platforms. Our Novig state-availability guide illustrates why the exact product and current restrictions matter. Alphascope provides independent research; ProphetX’s current rules and account checks determine platform access.
